The PRASA-RobMech International Conference, in association with IEEE RAS, SAIEE and SAIMechE, provides a platform to showcase and gauge the current state of pattern recognition methods and applications, advanced robotics and mechatronics research in South Africa. Research facilities in southern Africa and beyond are invited to submit their work for presentation. The symposium is open to all industries, research institutions and hobbyists. The symposium brings together researchers, academics, application engineers, users and policy makers of CAD/CAM/Pattern recognition, robotics and factory automation.
Welcome to the PRASA-RobMech International Conference
incorporating
The 26th Annual Symposium of the Pattern Recognition Association of South Africa
and
The 8th Robotics and Mechatronics (Robmech) Conference of South Africa
26-27 November 2015, Port Elizabeth
The conference is organised by the Advanced Mechatronic Technology Centre (AMTC), at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University's North Campus in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
This website will provide you with all the information you need for this year's conference, which will take place on 26 and 27 November 2015 at the North Campus Conference Centre of the NMMU.
This symposium is the 26th organised annual event of the Pattern Recognition Association of South Africa (PRASA). PRASA is affiliated with the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and with the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR).
Detailed submission requirements are available on the relevant sections of this website and in the Call for Papers section.
This is a great opportunity to meet other like-minded scientists in the interdisciplinary fields of pattern recognition, robotics and mechatronics.
